The Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators serves to unite for mutual benefits, governmental and private investigators engaged in the control of arson; to further  the causes of fire prevention and suppression of crime; to exchange technical information and developments; to encourage high professional standards of conduct among those investigating any fire related crime; and to foster greater professional competence by offering first class training opportunities.
